Background:

Atlas Wylde is 31-years-old and currently living in Colorado, near where they grew up. Wylde graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. They are a lover of all things organization, and consider spreadsheets to be an absolute delight. They also enjoy reading, keeping a journal, and long periods of silence which allow for deep thought.

Writing:

From 2011 until 2014, Wylde regularly wrote and performed spoken word poetry at poetry slams across Colorado. Many videos of their performances from this time are still widely viewed, quoted, and performed by others. Wylde competed in the Women of the World Poetry Slam in 2012. In 2018, Wylde self-published the whimsical, serious, fleeting, and bold art concept novel, BLANK. 2023 brought forth the vibrant and thought-provoking chapbook “Home and other poems.”

In addition to poetry, Wylde occasionally spins their long threads of deep pondering into personal essays and blog posts.

YouTube:

Wylde has been creating YouTube videos since 2010. Individually, they post educational content about gender, sexuality, and self-exploration to their personal channel. In connection with Catherine Simone and Christian Covington, Wylde previously contributed content to the collaborative group Boxed Wine & Bullshit. They previously formed and managed the collaboration channel Funny Gay Kids from 2010-2012.

Art:

The creation of one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime pieces of art and artistic experience characterize Wylde’s work. They’re likely to create an abstract painting one week, build a piece of furniture from scratch the next, and create custom board game pieces from resin the week after that. They do not devote themself to any one medium, and instead take tremendous pleasure in the journey and spirit of the eternal student, often chronicling and sharing their process and inspiration.

Music:

Long a lover of the acoustic guitar, Wylde takes great pleasure in playing popular songs for a room full of friends, and utilizing music as another outlet for their love of language and words.
